All my life, I’ve tried to focus on who I am as a person. Growing up, I was a girl with frizzy hair, braces, and an awkward sense of style (S/O to being called Hermione Granger for a decade). Then as all people do, I clearly thrives through my middle school days, with caked on eyeliner and tragically straightened hair.
Fast forward to my current days of high school (which I’m sure i will laugh at in later years) that are filled with me doing what I’ve always done; Trying to improve who I am by dreaming of living in the riches of life, acquiring a husband that religiously plays with golden retrievers, or getting the newest fad. But instead of doing what I’ve always done, I’ve realized it’s better to embrace who you are rather than to wish to be somebody different. This blog is marking the journey of falling apart, coming back together, and accepting the mess of a life I live. So here’s to being Hermione Granger, to dreaming of being Blake Lively, to basking in being Taylon Hammons.
